I posted the battery model number in hopes of helping others here. I am certain I learned of the specific model from other, far older, internet posts - maybe even from this site.
I didn't photograph my old batteries, or save them, when I replaced the batteries in my alarm siren. I also don't remember the new batteries, "SE-FT", being labeled any differently than the batteries I removed.
I just checked two D-I-Y guides which did photograph the old batteries, those of Dmitry and Daniel Sauerberli, neither of these show the old batteries as being labeled "SE-FT" type, but simply CR17335 although with the three pin tabs.
I apologize for giving bad advice, but I didn't know it at the time. I honestly thought these were the correct batteries for our sirens.
