Hitch without OEM reinforcing parts

My Saab is a 2002 Linear wagon 5-speed 2.3 liter low pressure turbo.
I have a hitch that bolts onto the forward surface of the rear bumper (three bolts) and onto the bottom of the spare tire well (two bolts) by removing the towing eye. I do not have the reinforcement parts described in other threads. My trailer weighs 325 lbs. and the total gross load weight will usually be 800 lbs and never exceed 1400 lbs.
Does anyone who is familiar with this set-up see any problem with a limited load without finding and installing the reinforcing parts?
