It was CPO'ed sometime prior to this, evidently. it is an 03 that the dealer's paperwork says warranty started in oct 03 and carfax says first owner reported in june 2004. so it was probably sitting a while before the first owner bought it (model year leftover?). the battery was replaced before sale in jan 04. In august 04 there was 4789 miles when "frame assy (casette) restrainer and front door handle were all serviced. In dec 04 4 months later, mileage was up to 11800 when the speakers 10k service (late) and "ecu-auto trans EH control" were serviced. Quite a lengthy list of warranty repairs on this wagon. It also says ecu-auto trans EH control done at 15600 miles un feb 05 and then also june 05 with 25k miles (this is when the 20k service was done). Sounds like he took a bunch of trips to california and then remembered oops it's a lease now i'll have to buy the car, and maybe getting fleeced, the owner had the dealer certify it?
Somehow carfax says it is a certified 1-owner vehicle? if title never changed hands, carfax says only 1 owner?... there was 48k miles in march 2006 but 69k miles in december 2006, and it was sitting around new between oct 2003 and june 04 when first owner was reported. The salesman, supposedly going on vacation today at 3, didn't bother calling me about the 60k service and service history that I was concerned about, as another poster wrote maybe they don't have a clue... (SID says time for service). Traded in at 82k in July and now its been sitting with 5k more miles since then, but 5k is a lotta testdrives for a car that the salesmen aren't using(????)
