For me the squeak was coming from the cargo/pet gate that fences off the cargo area of my sportswagon. It made it sound like I was driving a taxi cab. I tightened up one of the 2 screws that locks it place, just under the ceiling and sprayed a little WD-40 (using the attached straw so I would ruin the surrounding material). I drove around the block to work it in there and it seemed to work pretty darn well. I drive a Saab again. ;^). Now I do hear a slight rub/squeak, but I'm not sure if it's coming from the same place or from something else back there. Since I live in an apartment, most of my car stuff is in the cargo area. But it is indeed far quieter than it was which is great since it was competing with my iPod.
