Chk Eng Lt. - P0300 & P1300 - New Plugs Fixed It?

For the first time in my almost 5 years owning my 1999 9-5 SE V6, I experienced a Check Engine Light. At first it flashed on-off but soon it stayed on constantly. No apparent symptoms except a very brief bit of subtle roughness at idle once.
Suspecting a possible Direct Ign Cassette (DIC) failure pending (mine are originals but with only 132,000 km) I borrowed an OBD II code reader from a friend. It recovered two codes: P0300 and P1300.
The generic code table in the reader manual stated P0300 = "Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected". No generic code listed for P1300 and no Saab list in the manual although GM specific code table stated P1300 = "Ignition Coil 1 Primary Feedback Circuit".
I replaced the sparkplugs with the correct NGK types. They were due and I had a set on hand ready for my spring "tune-up". After clearing the codes using the OBD II reader device, the CEL has remained off for a day. I will watch carefully as there may still be weakness developing in the DICs and I don't want to be stranded this summer driving season.
Anyone else have OBD II code tables for Saab? The Alldata site I subscribe to has a table for my Saab but neither P0300 nor P1300 code is listed at all in that reference.
