Good to have the option to adjust, although Koni instructions don't mention this. I had stock springs with the Koni's and was bottoming out on the lower perch with passengers in the back, so after deciding they were too soggy, I switched them.
I have now installed Abbott Racing springs on my 2003 9-5 Aero with the Koni's - and the top perch is too high for them, making handling nervous, so choose the lower setting when replacing your springs. They are stiffer so won't bottom out, and they don't really affect ride height, dropping about an inch overall.
The Abbott's are about 20% stiffer than stock, work well with Koni's and are very very easy to live with, while dramatically improving handling. I definitely recommend them.
