Got the tapping/clicking thing going on. Comes and goes at times but is RPM dependent. Still have the the long belt (fairly new). Upper pulley was changed out a few thousand ago when it chewed up the old belt.

Changed the tensioner assembly as its pulley looked to be dancing around, but the noise is still there.

With the belt off, the water pump pulley seemed to have about a 1/2 inch play. That seems a lot, but what is normal?

Is there a way to definitively diagnose the water pumpt (short of its total failure)?

And by the way, anyone have the correct torque settings for the nut (1)and bolts (4) that hold the upper engine mount bracket to the engine?
