Winter Mode Switch Won't Deactivate

Wife accidentally hit the Winter mode switch on the shift floor panel. Now that winter is finally over in the Northeast, and the Red Sox lead the Yankees in the standings, she would like to deactivate W mode. She's never used W mode before and she just hit the button a couple of days ago. The car does drive in the W mode. The switch has no play and does not appear recessed or depressed. It just won't move at all. She does not want to pay dealer labor rates for an item that should not have failed. I have nominal mechanical skill but time to attempt fix. In meantime, wife has taken my Viggen convertible until such time as I make the repair. Help me reclaim my Viggen. Thanks.
