This is not a problem for most vehicles made in the last 15-20 years. It will clean gunk out of old fuel tanks, so changing your fuel filter after 6 months might not be a bad idea if you've never run injector cleaner or gas line anti-freeze through your car. I recently changed my ECU to a Nordic E-85 version, and haven't had any problems running 85% ethanol in my 04 Linear. Mileage will decrease somewhat, 5-15% depending on your car, more of a decrease with non-turbocharged vehicles.
