I would say yes if the oil cooler is mounted low as most are. Gravity will cause the fluid to go that way & you will have a mess on your hands. What all did you have to remove to get to this leak? The local dealership wants like $500.00 to fix this breach. Ouch!! Is this a common problem on the v-6 of this vintage? TIA!
