by Certifying Saab dealer. But all the warranty "stays with the car" until end of CPO warranty period/mileage, regardless of ownership. All you need do is present the car at a Saab dealer, prove that you own it, and if the Iris system shows that the car is under CPO warranty, covered repairs are still n/c.

Similarly, you can get a good deal on a used 9-5 by looking for a car with a clear Carfax, a good Iris report, AND remaining factory or CPO warranty.

We bought a 9-5 wagon on eBay from a couple of guys who bought off-lease Saabs at auction, ran them through their friendly local Saab franchise to fix anything that needed attention,detailed them to the max, and then sold them at a relatively small markup. The condition of that eBay car on delivery made both our subsequent CPO purchases look sad by comparison!
