It may be the fan speed controller.... When the fan fails it will not run. At the earliest stage of failing the fan will run, but will be slow to start (i.e. won't turn "on" until after 5 minutes or so.
It sounds as if your fan runs, at least on High Speed, but possibly not on any other speed. This sounds like it may be the fan speed controller which has died. If you can't feel any air from your vents on any speed other than High, then the speed controller may need to be replaced.
Your car is a 2000, so it is probably a good idea to replace the fan motor at the same time as replacing the speed controller, unless you know the fan motor has been replaced previously. The fan motor needs to be removed anyway to access the speed controller since the controller sits beneath the fan.
The bad news is that both parts cost approximately $300 each.
Has a Dealer or Tech reloaded a good copy of the ACC program? You may want to double-check this before buying $600 of parts.
