I don't know if you looked it up, but the basslink is an all inclusive amp + 10 in sub w/ passive radiator. It puts out a ton of bass, and many of us w/ 9-5s add this to our cars.
Basically, you splice into the rear deck speaker wire (which is only a subwoofer if you have the 9 speaker HK system.) Hook that into the inputs on the subwoofer itself.
The power that I used was from the trunk trailer wiring harness (its located in your spare tire area). I placed a 20amp fuse into its corresponding spot in the interior fuse box so the power would run there. I simply made a ground by hooking a wire to the frame of the car. Therefore you have no wires leaving the trunk area and a damn good amount of bass. The signal for the basslink to turn on comes from the speaker splice. The trailer harness has power to it ALWAYS, but the sub only turns on when a signal comes into it from the speakers
Search "infinity basslink" on that popular auction site and you'll find a ton of used ones for a pretty good price.
