Great Saab Story for Today

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share a great story about Saabs. Today, when I got out of my car at the mall, a woman approached me from her Honda Accord Hybrid parked right in front of me. She says to me, "What year Saab is that?" I tell her its an 01 and if she was looking to buy a new Saab. She tells me she had a 99 9-5 that she loved to death, but it broke down so much that she couldn't keep it anymore. The deal breaker was when her water pump bored a hole in the block and the replacement short block would have costed her 4000K. She then goes to tell me that she had a 73 99 that went 350,000 without problems. When her 9-5 was towed away, she said "I couldn't stop crying when I saw it being towed away. I loved that car!" I told her my car has been very reliable, and with almost 110,000 miles on it, couldn't be any better. She says her accord is a great car, but doesn't drive ANYTHING like a Saab does. I told her that she should look for either a newer 9-5, and possibly a v6 since she also had sludge issues. I told her that Saabs do require some specific maintenance, but in the long run, are much better to drive and are actually just as reliable as a Japanese car. We went separate ways with the last thing she said being, "You know, thanks for your reassurance in Saabs, I think I may go back to the Saab dealership soon!" I hope she comes back to the family!
