I would certainly try the DIC and plugs, to see if it helps!
If you do the plugs, on the back side you will have to CAREFULLY remove the hoses. The one for the brake booster (kinda a hard plastic) come off by pushing in on the connection.
Swedecar is the guy you really want working on your car if your in L.A!I drive/(sometimes have towed) about 40miles to get to his shop, but its worth it.
