Picked up a new-to-me 05 Aero last night

Been a while since I've posted... got a lot going on these days! Just had our first baby, and I just went back to work yesterday after a week of paternity leave.
Any how, baby needed a new ride, so we've been changing the fleet some... sold my 00 9-5 Aero and picked up an 05 Aero (parchment silver over tan, auto, with nav, Saab certified). Got a great deal from International Motors in Falls Church, VA. The cars are basically the same except for a few minor differences. I love the self dimming side view mirrors! Haven't tried out the rain sensing wipers yet (hasn't rained!). The nav is a bit annoying (once it's on, how do you turn it off? need to read my manual...).
Performance-wise, the 05 is FAR faster than the 00. Definitely a huge seta in the pants power increase. Also, the MPG seems to be better (so far anyway; got over 30 mpg commuting to work this AM; 00 got about 26).
The brakes feel a little different to me than the 00 Aero brakes; strangely, the 00 Aero brakes seem better to me than the 05's. Has any one else noticed this who has experienced both cars? Or perhaps I need to get my brakes checked...
Cheers,
Mike
