Still troubleshooting occasional skip

If you do a search for "Liam" you can see all the posts so far. But basically since last year (and I only drive the car in the summer) I've been having this occasional skip in the engine. Usually at moderate boost (just shy of the yellow part of the gauge). This was coupled with a hard cold start. Last week I took it to the dealer and they were not able to replicate the cold start issue but did get the stutter once the car was running. They had a computer plugged in at the time but it's so fast they didn't see anything wrong.
I replaced the fuel pump because I was almost sure the check valve was the cause of the hard start afer 8hrs of sitting. I let the car sit for 12 hrs after I changed it and it started right up. Then I let it sit for 24 hrs and again it started right up. My hope is that that problem is solved.
Took the car to work today and it skipped twice (right in a row, within a second of each other). No other problems, but my hope of a dead spot on the fuel pump turned out to be wrong.
I'm down to:
CPS or Throttle Body.
The car hasn't set a CEL in over 3 years (last one was a dying DIC). I'm not exactly keen on blindly replacing parts, but I also don't want any problems when I drive from VT to NC next week for vacation.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Liam
