Many thanks for your collective input on the dieseling problem. I have used Techron every 3k miles since I've had it (3-08), but I'm now certain I'll up the fuel category to 89 in both this one and our "new" '02 Arc (V-6)wagon w/ only 38k miles. Yes, on a pctg basis, to skimp and fail to opt for/buy 89 or 91 these days, is stupid. I'm properly chastised. In the olden days, I knew all about carbon buildup, etc. There's no real reason for it to have ceased to be a problem. DKH
