Still Having Sporadic Starting and Noise Issues...

I am just at a loss as to whats going on with my 9-5 V6. Basically, it seems to go through sporadic periods in which it has a difficult time starting, usually cold but not always. It will stall out and only start after giving it gas. I also notice that it will occasionally be sluggish and loud on acceleration when driving. No check engine lights, no smoke or odd odors and I having been using high octane gas, chevron if it matters.
As some of you know who have been following my on-going saga I replaced the sparks and both DIs two weeks ago. I did take it to Swedecar, Anders is awesome by the way, and he did a thorough once over and did some minor fixes on the issues he found. He did offer to check the timing belt but because he couldn't hear anything major I opted not to have him check the work. I will be taking it back to him for the "code 08" fix and some other issues in a couple of weeks but any thoughts in the interim would be appreciated. Should I have him check my spark plug work? Should I breakdown and have him check the timing belt?
