to begin with. the extra two leads are 12v (switched or unswitched...I suggest switched to heavy duty relay depending on load) and electric brake from controller in tow car.
Chances are if your trailer has electric brakes you're exceeding the rated tow load of the 9-5 wagon but that's up to you. Sure you can stop the trailer but accelerating it and towing it up say a 6% grade (not uncommon on Interstate) will really cook the transmission if it's an automatic. Stick...keep the revs up.
