Sorry to hear it wasn't the sensor....TECH2 is the ultimate device to determine what the problem is...as you've heard from me and SWEDECAR....
SWEDECAR is right about the dash....in my 2001 lpt, I switched the 185hp ECM to the 200hp ECM meant for 2000MY SAABs (purchased at last years SOC), and the dash (boost guage) immediately shows full red zone boost, ie, the needle is "pegged" all the way to the right.
BUT,
Analysis with TECH2 clearly shows the boost to be working properly, it's the signal sent to the boost guage is different in the 2000ECM from the 2001....
TRANSLATED,
as SWEDECAR mentioned in his recent post to you, he'd have to check out DICE, TWICE, and the other computers in the car, as to what is happenning the signal sent to the dash in your car.
IMHO, the diagnostic step with TECH2 should be your next one....does your indie have a TECH2 to assist you?
