found my AC leak - expansion valve - few questions

I was about to purchase a brake booster from eeuro but decided I would find my slow leak (1 can every week of freon) in the AC system. So last time I needed to add a can, i put in some with UV die and was able to locate the leak today.
It appears that that top indented circle is somehow leaking. I had a video of it where i sprayed some soap water on it and it was bubbling, but my video camera on my digicam sucks so it was pointless to upload. You can see a few bubbles on the picture I took though.
Either way. Has anyone ever seen it leak like that? it is leaking around that circular indentation. I tried a can of stop leak, obviously it did (little) nothing.
Anyone ever replace that? looks tight, but doable as it appears it is only that one bolt holding it in after you remove the AC lines. Guess I'll have to vacuum the system afterward and recharge, but it the long run, it will save me money (vs buying a can of freon every week in the summer.)
Any thing else I should look at/replace while im in there, any precautions, things i could break etc?
TIA
