When a shop change the story from one day to the other is alarm enough because it means they didn't check things out thoroughly the first time.
It is very common for the oil pressure sending unit to start to leak at some point and time and it should be replaced since it is a fairly inexpensive repair.
The oil leak from rear of cylinder head gasket is a well know fact but it is not that much to do about it except replacing the cylinder head gasket (gasket, not the head).
You can search on the topic and find many posts about it.
You should also make sure that your car have the latest PCV update before doing the head gasket. That might slow down the leak to acceptable levels.
Different type of oil can leak more or less so it is not impossible that your car started to leak more right after an oil change.
