with 303 cleaner and protectant. I've used 303 for years on my boat and cars (including an 87 9000, 95 9000CSE, 95 900SE, and 99 9-3) and never had a problem. The product is made specifically for vinyl, plastic, and rubber.
I did not buy my 2000 9-5SE new. It had 65K on it when I bought it and the buttons were already a little "sticky". Like you, I clean them but they just seem to attract lint no matter what.
Let me know if you find something that works.
