well, saabalicious,a lot of folks here say that it is better to go for a 2004 and up or in some cases they say 2003 and up,but they say that the 2004 and up models were improved and because of that became much more reliable than previous models.I, myself got a 2004 aero model ........a beautiful monster....i'll tell ya.......it is a great great car,it has a 2.3 liter 4 cyl engine with 250 hp(for 2006 and up the power increased by 10hp,same engine but more power and of course few modifications as well),so if you ask me go for the 2004 and up ,even now (if you look around a lot ) you can find a 2005 model pretty cheap,of course it all depends on how much you want to spend.Anyways ,good luck.........there is plenty of well knowledgeable folks here that will tell you the same and probably much much more...........good luck
