Pulled my DI cassettes today to example them for a possible failure. Error codes and miss points in that direction. My Saab indie buddy agrees.

When I pulled the DI on the V6 engine I have oil (actually motor oil) in considerable quanity in the plug holes! I never saw this on our 2.3L 4 cyl 9000(s).

We've had an oil leak on the pulley side we have not determined yet but my indie Saab buddy thinks it may be the cam seals. Would this have any effect on oil getting into this area or do we most likely have another issue at work here? Or is the oil somewhat normal?

I don't know the plug order but if you are looking at the V6 the two cylinders closest to the drive belts almost cover the plug top, the middle two have some oil in the bottom around the plug and the transmission side plugs are 90% dry.
