I suggest against driving it, however you can move the car around and still have power brakes. I make the client leave the vehicle here while the unit is out for repair as Im not going to take the liability of them getting in an accident without all the safety systems working properly.
I have heard this many times about BBA, I recommend a shop called Auto ECU (autoecu.com) in TN. Price is similar to BBA, but have had *much* better luck getting properly working units. Their turn around time is also MUCH faster than TEN days! Really friendly folks to deal with as well. They do not offer a lifetime warranty, but having it done to where you dont need to USE a warranty is worth its weight in gold to me.
