FWIW, my problem (2001 Aero, problem started in my first year of CPO ownership, 2006. When weather changed from cold to warm, hard starting, maybe 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 l-o-n-g cranking attempts before catching and running normally rest of the day. I first tried some Techron - no change. Dealer's top Saab tech - a guy I've known for 20 years - suggested CPS and the DIC, both done under warranty. Problem didn't get much better. Suggested I try "another" brand of 93 octane. I had been using Mobil, switched to Sunoco Ultra. End of problem with first tank, never came back. Service Manager reported some notes about the problem, mostly from CA and Pacific NW. Same solution, apparently.
Run your tank down most of the way and try a tank of Sunoco. It's worth a try, as it's basically a no-cost solution, (got to buy gas anyhow...) if it works.
