mine are the same way on my 01, I think it is ok, I also looked at them and concluded they are setup like a ball joint, but then again my rear camber is bad as well. upper and lower bushings are the same way on mine!
does your Aero sit low in the rear? what was your camber specs before and after shimming, and straightening the wheels (camber)did it affect the ride height at all or at least the look of the height?
