(virtually same problem as this post, but the throttle body valve did not solve the problem: http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=184295)

First time my car wouldn't start it was still warm. The car cranked and cranked, wouldn't fire. I could hear the fuel pump, and the fuel rail had good pressure. I swapped the DIC and the car started right up. Drove fine for 2 days.

Second time my car wouldn't start it was dead cold, sat all night. After cleaning the throttle body, air intake, changed the air filter, gapped the plugs (dry as a bone even after all the cranking)... the car started fine!

Next day the battery was dead after sitting in the car with the OBDII code reader for a while. Figured the battery was weak anyway, so I replaced it. I also replaced the spark plugs, and got a reading of over 40psi on the fuel rail. Car started fine, ran great for a whole week.

This morning my car wouldn't start again... cranking, wouldn't fire. So I pulled off the intake tube and played with the TB butterfly valve, same as Marcus did (http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=184427). No start. In an act of desperation I sprayed starting fluid into the TB... Started right up!

So what is the problem??? No fuel delivery? I have a CPS I will install this weekend, but it seems like that wouldn't be it (problems starting cold and hot).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you.
