I would not let it under snow for the whole winter to avoid rusting on sensitive parts like brake disks etc.
I have been storing cars for more than 5 years. A '92 Honda stored in summer and '95 VW Westfalia stored in winter. My worst experience was letting the Honda in a parking lot. Rear brakes got jammed and the perfect front brakes got spotted with rust. The westfalia is always stored indoors, not heated. My procedure is very simple :
. windshield washer in water tank (does not apply to you...)
. "boule à mythes" to avoid squirrels making their nest inside
. negative battery post unplugged
. hand brake not applied
. Stored with actual motor oil - to be changed after storing
Find a dry place. It is worth the $300.
Bye,
Francois
