My car was due for new pulleys and with 150K miles on the tensioner, I replaced it and the pulley as a unit. There was only one other pulley that I put on since I tried the short belt option and left the center pulley alone.
However, I was also getting some weeping from the water pump so I went ahead and replaced it. If I recall correctly, Replacing the water pump required me to remove the power steering pump as well. That plus replacing my entire exhaust system took me the better part of 2 days. I'd expect a professional mechanic to have done the job in less than one day.
In your case, you weren't replacing a water pump or exhaust system and just about everything that needed to be disassembled to remove & replace the ps pump would have to have been removed as part of the pulley/belt replacement. That should be no more than a couple of hours for an experienced wrench. I'd be very surprised if GM would pay more than that if they had to be replaced on warranty.
So, if you add in $120 for the belt & pulleys plus the $200 for the used pump, you paid more than $500 for labor.
I think the dealer made some money that day.
