Since it's an ester-based cleaner, it'll do no harm to leave a qt of the AutoRx mix (totaling 2 oz of ester) in the system. You'll get added lubricity & no "solvent thinning" of your oil. Since it works by slowly softening deposits, it's probably the safest cleaner to use, too.
I'm currently on a 20k mi clean/rinse cycle in my '90 C900 (n/a), & I'll start a 10k mi clean/rinse in my '99 9³SE (turbo) sometime in January.
