Heated seat fixed!

My driver side seat heater went 1 week after CPO warranty expired.... After 10+ yrs with SAAB's, my butt is spoiled and can't live without the seat warmer in mid-west winter, so took a shot at DIY to save up $$$ for something better (BSR upgrade would be nice.)
Hoped for an easy fix by swapping the switch first, but it wasn't the case, so took the seat apart to get to it. Once the bottom seat was removed and the skin partially peeled, found broken heating wire right under the front lateral stitch, leaving minor burn to the urethane (kinda like cigarette burn) that made it so obvious to find where the problem was. Most likely from rubbing against the hard wire securing upholstery in place.
Anyway, soldered broken wire ends back together and toasty seat is back!!! Took a few hours but definitely DIY-able. The hardest part was to get to the two stupid machine screws in the back to take the seat bottom out.
Just FYI.
