I'm almost at the point of giving in and going to the Saab Dealer for this problem, and/or trading it in for a Volvo. I have a Y2000 Aero wagon with 130K miles and have replaced the T/B for CEL and fault codes. After this, the car ran fine for a few days then started to surge when idling and finally would stall giving NO CEL and no codes.

My indie found big hole in hose going from crank case to the PCV and replaced it along with others that are soft (on recommendation from an earlier post on this site) Car will still surge and stall out, but only when engine reaches temperature. The car will start with no problem when cold or hot, but will stall out ONLY when hot.

I reason that if I had a bad T/B it would be giving fault codes and would it be so temperature dependent??

Any suggestions or direction would be appreciated.
