.....and it's kind of bitter sweet. I am the only owner of a '99 9-5 SE LPT 5spd with 177k story filled miles. Last year I replaced the turbo, the front pads & rotors, got 4 new Michelin's, a new fuel pump, a new water pump, and new serpentine belt. I was set to take it to 250k. But someone side-swiped me last week - $2,500 worth of damage. And now with .9% financing & great deals on well-optioned CPO cars out there, I've decided to cash-in my SAAB ownership status and the insurance money I'm getting. I've pulled the trigger on an '06 330Xi Auto - got an amazing deal with BMW's latest Red Tag promo covering the '06's.

So I say goodbye to the 9-5 board, but not before I ask for 1 more piece of advice......WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THE CAR? It still drives great!

Do I trade it in for only $500? (The passenger side is a mess - front door is warped and doesn't fit right; front quarter needs replaced, rear door has big dent & scratch' real quarter has a dent; it's also starting to develop a throttle or transmission issue)

Or is there another alternative? A lot of the parts on the car are in great shape.

Let me end with saying that this board has been amazing!
It saved me $1,000's. It made my SAAB ownership that much better. And it made me a lot smarter about efficiently maintaining a premium European sports sedan.

Again, any last advice on what to do with the car would be appreciated.

Good luck to all, and enjoy those SAAB's. I certainly did.......but now I'm off to BMW land.
