With fuse 35 installed, the switch does nothing. Except to "allow" fog lights to be used if and only if the switch is all the way to the right (pos. 2?)
With 35 taken out, as I have now, you get no lights when in the leftmost position - you also lose the lights on the stereo and heater controls unfortunately - and in the center or rightmost positions the Xenons come on. With the engine off, the middle position WILL leave your parking lights on (not the xenons the small bulbs in there) and WILL kill your battery overnight. Go ahead, ask me how I know.... The fog lights still only work when in the "headlights on" position.
I asked my dealer about the "euro mode" headlights Tech2 option and they said that their latest software update removed the ability to change that stuff.
