After 2.5 years of ownership of my 99' V6, I finally decided to something about the suspension! I used partsgeek.com which had the Bilstein HD front and rears for $535 with free shipping, and traded some Computer repair time for some labor... well worth it. The only problem was that one of the rear shocks came missing some hardware, so im driving around on 3 of the HD's and one of the Old Sachs till the replacement comes. So far the ride is firm, and the handling improved and all around the car feels much more solid. I certainly feel more of the road, but the driving experience is much improved.
Another item I had replaced was the rear motor mount, which surprisingly made a huge difference! The vibrations at Idle have been reduced, and the Transmission when shifted into reverse doesn't "clunk" into gear anymore. So i finally have a complete set of working motor mounts, which I wish I would have done sooner.
