Bad recommendation for saabradio Posted by jgARC03SW [Email] (#1216) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jgARC03SW) on Sun, 22 Feb 2009 06:19:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Stay away from Saabradio, unfortunately I have to give a horrible recommendation for almost complete lack of communication (had to beg to get status updates etc), going on 3 months in his shop now (what else is he doing besides saab radios.....?) then saying my CD Changer somehow broke his equipment. Needless to say he was not able to unlock my CD Changer (my fault though, ha). I told him to just keep it and forget the whole thing.
$100 for the Changer on the big auction site (which arrived in seemingly great condition from LKQOnline a very reputable dealer!) and $40 to saabradio for the unlock service. $140 wasted, lesson learned. At least when I get a good one I have lots of experience in taking apart and putting back together all the trim pieces that I pulled for the cd changer wiring and harnesses.
Goldwing sells on ebay for about $300, do those come "divorced"??
My wagon trim pieces have been all over the living room since December, I am going to put them back in there today and maybe rotate my noisy Pirelli P6 tires.
