The bolts are M12x1.75 and you’ll need ones that are at least 4.5” long.
4” long if you remove the back plate on the engine.
Rebuild it for sure. Should cost less than $500.
The crank probably doesn’t need any work.
WIS tell you how to check it.
Put in new bearings, rod, crank, and thrust.
New piston rings maybe? New chain guides, chains, etc.
You can buy a kit.
There are a bunch of ‘O’ rings on the block you’ll want to get.
Some come in the kit.
One on the oil sump and two on the oil delivery pipe.
And O rings for the water pump, turbo oil return & dipstick maybe, etc.
Other stuff; loctite 518 for chain cover & oil pan, new rod bearings
maybe, timing chain & guides.
I’m rebuilding mine right now. Its hard to find some of this info.
Email me if you want.
