The downside to the 2.3 turbo four motor is idle coarseness. It's very easy to get the "heightened sensitivity syndrome" going where you notice the rough idle, start to focus on it, and then obsess on it. Yes it's there, but a great measure of it is pretty normal for the big four.
Does it do it all the time or just hot with the AC on or? How long have you owned the car? Does shifting to neutral make it go away? Or turning on and off the AC compressor
The most common cure is to reset the idle 50 rpm's higher or lower. And I'm not taking anything away from all the other supposed remedies, but most of the time it pretty normal, see paragraph one......
