I'm in the same boat with my 2003 Aero wagon. It's compounded by the fact that I'd like to get a little additional preload adjustment, as I pull a trailer with a ~200lb tongue weight occasionally. Yes, max is 165, but I can't buy another car just for towing, and I don't want to get rid of the Saab. The Saab does a fine job of it, but feels a little funny.
Perhaps the best solution is to get a stiffer, shorter spring like the Eibach, and add a spacer to get the ride height to where you want.
Does anyone know the official stock ride height of the Aero and how it's measured?
