I keep wondering if FSDs "stiffen enough" when you push them if you still have stock springs (and mine are not even aero). I'm trying to chose between FSDs and Bilstein HD. I know Bilstein has better built quality and are more reliable/longer lived, at least when compared to Koni Sport Yellows. I guess FSDs haven't been around long enough yet to determine how long lived they are.
As for the springs - I'm not planning to put lower springs on my car (maybe some used aero ones if I find them). HDs are too tall for lowered springs. However, even though they put disclaimer everywhere, people at Koni DO recommend mounting FSDs with lowered springs (as Koni and Eibach have been pairing suspension parts for long time). Also reports online seem to be favorable for this setup. Still, that's not what I have in mind, just wanted to clarify ;-)
