SO, I picked the car up. I totally complimented them on checking exhaustively ALL the systems to see what they could find. He said, basically that these brakes might do it again and get used to it. (they already squeak after 60 miles) It's NOT life or death, but it is a 10 month old car I paid nearly $40,000 for and have (stupid) huge payments on. So, of course, that it sounds like a 25 year old Yugo every time I back up doesn't make me happy. I asked REALLY nicely if there was anyone at Saab corporate to ask for other solutions. Boy did I get push back. He was not interested in lifting the phone.. He said the 9-5 has had the same brakes for years, so there are no problems, to which I countered.. "yes, and I've had THREE 9-5s that didn't have this problem. They've all been parked in the same garage with the same turn.. and none of them did made this noise, so there MUST be an opportunity to fix something". He didn't like that... We agreed that it's safe and 'nothing's technically wrong' so they can't do anything. I thanked them for all their hard work, and so it goes..
