The other night I was coming back home from a simple 1 hour trip and my CEL came on (solid not flickering). Car is running perfect, no misfires, no rough idle...just the year after year tough starts in the spring/summer (CPS is fine just always done this).
Was going to go to the auto parts store to get the code(s) pulled and needed gas so I went there first. Filled up, left...CEL gone. Ok...perfect, gas cap, no biggie at all. Didn't bother getting the codes pulled.
On the way to work this morning, CEL came back on. Pulled over took off gas cap and put back on...CEL still on. Tried that a few more times and thought, maybe the cap is just bad, time to get another. So, I went to get the codes pulled this time and there were no "codes" but there was a message saying "Manufacturer's Powertrain Issue" or something to the sort.
Car is running absolutely fine, the only recent work that's been done was the Koni FSDs I had installed, and obviously that shouldn't have any bearing on a CEL, right?
Anybody ever seen this message or something to the sort? I'm sure it could mean a million things. We cleared the CEL and it's been off...but only been like 5 miles since.
Thanks a bunch in advance! :)
