Yes I am in NC. I am pretty sure that we get reformulated gas in summer vs winter. but I am not certain.
I'd be surprised that trionic needs days/weeks to "get used" to a new formulation. Should I expect driveability problems if I live in VT and visit FL in the winter? or if I live in NC and drive to UT? or if I live at sea level and drive to 14,000 ft to go skiing?
You may be right that these cars take a long long time to adjust to changes. I'm just saying that I would be surprised. And I think that dismissing a "sputter" as "new gas formulation" is as dangerous as dismissing a CEL as "loose gas cap".
I would like to think that an engine management system as advanced as trionic would be able to adjust immediately.
