Make a cart sturdy enough to hold the engine/trans/subframe assembly. ( 4x6 and metal hanger straps, 4 '' swivel casters. make this to support the subframe and still leave access to the bolts etc. that attach the subframe to the car. Remove the front bumper ( it's really easy ) and attach your engine hoist to the front of the car (this can be really dangerous) Do it in a totally safe way. follow the instructions in WIS to disconnect all the things to the engine/trans assembly. power steering rack stays with the subframe -- no lines need to be disconnected. evacuate the a/c and just take the two lines apart in the rf corner. Lift the front of the car high enough to roll the engine out. At your mileage I would totally go thru that motor. Piston fit is critical on these motors.
also a good time for p/s lines, subframe bushings, motor mounts etc. Just do it all once and drive it for another 200k.
