Oil leak at right bottom of timing cover....!!!???@*#(#

Ya.... I'm a happy camper. Got an oil leak at the bottom right (i.e. closest to the radiator)of the timing cover just behind (and above) the A/C lines. It slowly comes out the bottom right of the cover, runs down the front of the oil pan and then runs down the oil pan to eventually drip onto the cat convertor - smells awesome !!
Anyhow - before I drop the engine to remove the timing cover, is there any slicone/sealant that might do the trick here if I clean up the surface?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
