I just tried to start my car and got pop/backfire stall. Then when I tried to restart I got a surge to 3-4K rpm back down to almost stall & won't idle. It seems to rev but won't stay running.
I didn't get the same burning smell at the DI like I have when the last one failed, although there might be a little by the connector.
No check engine code at this point. The only upside is that it is in my driveway, and not on the roadtrip I was supposed to take it on tomorrow w/my 3 and 4 year old.
