Stolen 9-5's?

Just wondering, anyone out there hear about 9-5s being stolen? I've searched the board and found a post from almost three years ago saying that 2000 9-5s are among the least stolen cars, in Canada...
saabnet's registry of stolen Saabs shows only one car... total! (an automatic 2007 9-5 wagon)
google searching comes up with a little more, with NHTSA saying that there have been 2 stolen in 2004 and zero in 2007. Couldn't find data for other years.
I've just been growing more concerned with my so-so neighborhood and the economic situation. They usually just break into our cars to steal stuff, but I'm sure that'll just lead to them eventually start stealing whole cars. But then I think, who would steal my Saab? Most of my friends couldn't figure out how to drive it if I handed them the key!
another point is that, with my 2002 Aero being a manual transmission, most repair shops, valets, Saab dealers, etc. can't figure out how to get the key out, so they just leave it in the ignition.
So I guess what I'm getting to is, I want to figure out how to best protect my baby. If anyone knows about stolen 9-5s, how have they been doing it? Did they hotwire it, or pull an knife on the driver, or throw it on a trailer? Would stealing a manual 9-5 be harder than their automatic relatives?
Just some thoughts on an idle Friday,
-Chris
